Remove the snow from your generator as soon as  possible after snowfall. The generators are air-cooled and  require breathing room to allow for proper circulation  and functioning. If snow is not removed, it can cause an  error to occur and the unit will automatically shut off and  possibly overheat. It is suggested that 3 feet of area be  cleared around the unit for optimal functioning of the  system.
